Bass line for 'Dreams' by Fleetwood Mac. Simple tune, but tons of feel and groove. Great to practice simple songs like this to pick up on how great musicians play. So often people are mesmerized by flashy, busy bass playing on YouTube, which is where so many people go to learn. But this song is a great reminder of how great songs are sometimes written - very, very simple.
The reason why people don't always play simple is because it's actually very hard. When you're busy your flaws are hidden. When you play really simple and basic you are naked. There's nowhere to hide. Just try it and you'll see what I mean.
